Wheeler Mountain Trail

Just North of the Willoughby State Forest, North East Kingdom, Vermont.

This was a more challenging route than expected especially towards the end when it was some steep rock climbing (just one rock that was a constant steep incline), it was right on the side of a cliff so could easily make people queasy. At the top you could view the south side of Lake Willoughby and the surrounding mountains in the Willoughby State Forest.

There were some bears at the beginning of the trail, a mother bear and 3 small cubs climbing trees. No one else was on the trail.
