Mount Ellinor via Upper Trailhead

This was a very challenging hike within the Olympic National Park in North Western Washington. Only 3.1 miles but steep the entire way, there were many switch backs at the beginning but then began an unshaded stretch straight up in the August heat. This is the shorter version of the Mount Ellinor Trail, but was not small in challenge. The top peak had 360 degree views of Olympic National Park.
