Mount Everett and Guilder Pond via Race Brook Falls
Out in the South Western corner of Massachusetts within the Mount Everett State Reservation, this hike started gradual but got tougher as it went on. Continued on past Mount Everett to Guilder Pond to cool off on an unusually warmer April day. The hike seemed to go longer than the 7 miles due to the false summit part way through and having to hike down to the pond and then back up. The trail throughout was scenic although the summit did not have any views. The Appalachian Trail goes through here.
